Grandstream HandyTone 286 - HT286 Analog Telephone Adapter (2 included)
The HandyTone-286 is an award-winning next generation VoIP analog telephone adaptor (ATA) based on industry open standards. This adapter allows use of any analog phone or fax machine to be used with VoIP technology. There is no special need to purchase VoIP specific IP phones when these adapters are used. Each of these adapters (two are included in this package price) has a RJ45 ethernet port, and an RJ11 telephone port. This adapter allows the phone plugged into it to become any extension number you assign on your phone system.
Purchase an extra one of these adapters and take it with you on the road. Once plugged into an internet connection anywhere in the world, and a regular phone, you have instant access to your server back home. Any calls you could normally make back home, you can make while traveling, utilizing your own VoIP accounts.
Basic Installation Is Included In The Package Price
Basic installation includes the preparation, programming, and check out of the IP PBX phone server, and ATA devices. Basic installation assumes that an ethernet connection to your internet connected LAN is available at the server location, and also at the desired locations of the analog telephone adapters (ATAs). It also includes training on how to access and make changes to your system using the FreePBX GUI interface. Initial set up and configuration of all identified VoIP service providers is included as well. New! Apple iPhone integration is also included in this price.
AusTex VoIP can go far beyond a basic installation if so desired. We can add additional network equipment, provide ethernet cable drops, add wireless bridges in lieu of hardwire, and custom tailor your IP PBX phone service to any special requirements you may have. If you need more than this basic system and install, let us work with you to come up with that "Perfect" system at an affordable price.
We have included pricing for some of the changes and services we can provide with this package below. It's by no means all inclusive, and highlights some of the more frequent changes or additions to the basic system and install. We've also provided examples of some of our most popular VoIP plans. Please scroll down for additional information. You should also click on the "Home and Home Office" menu to see much more information on the features this type of system has to offer.
Example VoIP Plans
Family Plan $27.00/mth (home):
- Two different phone numbers. 1 for parents, 1 for kids
- Ring specific phones based on the incoming number receiving the call
- Receive two calls per phone number. If one phone is in use, it receives call waiting. Other phones ring.
- Unlimited incoming minutes and 3000 outgoing minutes on each phone number to anywhere in the US and Canada
- E911 service available
- Keep your current phone number(s)
Virtual US Number $4.95/mth (home or business)
Have relatives out of state, or business contacts in another location? Get a virtual telephone number, with unlimited incoming minutes, that routes to your server. Your family or business contacts call a local number that is free for them.
Incoming Toll Free Number .99/mth & .029/min (home or business)
Get an incoming toll free number for 99 cents a month, and 2.9 cents per minute. That's a whole heck of a lot better than AT&T's $10.00 a month and 10 cents per minute! You pay only 99 cents per month if you don't use any incoming minutes. Unlimited incoming channels mean you can receive as many phone calls as you have phones (goes to voicemail after reaching limit - never a busy signal)
Substitutions or Additions to Basic System Install
Grandstream HandyTone 486 - HT486 Analog Telephone Adapter
Similar to the HT286 included in the basic install, except this adapter adds a second ethernet port. This allows a computer and a telephone to share a single ethernet connection from your network. Add $15.00 for a substitution, or purchase for $60.00.
Grandstream HandyTone 503 - HT503 Analog Telephone Adapter
The Grandstream HT503 analog telephone adapter provides a single telephone connection, and dual ethernet connections similar to the HT486, but adds an additional port that allows you to keep, or add a traditional POTS (plain old telephone service) line to your system. This could be a line from AT&T or a digital line from your cable company. Typical reasons for doing this would be to have a backup, or interface with security systems and fax machines. Add $40.00 for substitution, or purchase for $85.00
GXP2000 SIP Phone - 4 Line with 7 Programmable Keys
The Grandstream GXP2000 is a 4-line enterprise SIP telephone that is feature rich, easy to use, supports integrated power-over-Ethernet and is competitively priced. The Grandstream GXP2000 offers superior audio quality, 4 individual SIP accounts, 7 programmable keys, visual message indicator, full duplex hands-free speakerphone, dual 10M/100Mbps Ethernet ports, intuitive user interfaces, large back-lit graphical LCD display with support for multiple languages, security and privacy protection. The Grandstream GXP2000 is an ideal IP phone for both the small business and the enterprise customer. Add $70.00 for substitution of an HT286 or purchase for $115.00
GXP2010 SIP Phone - 4 Line with 18 Programmable Keys
The GXP2010 was designed to be the cost-effective choice for the busy call center or small business that wants the feature functionality of a key-system. The 18 programmable speed-dial keys enable one-button access to office personnel and the 11 dedicated keys create one-button access to indispensable telephony features including hold, conference, mute, do-no-disturb, intercom, transfer, speaker and voicemail. This phone is ideal for enhancing office productivity and improving efficiency. Add $105 for substitution of an HT286 or purchase for $150
Ethernet Outlet - Interior Wall
Add an ethernet outlet for an analog telephone adapter or a phone location. All ATAs and IP or SIP phones require an ethernet connection tied into the same network as the phone server. We will add an outlet that ties into your main network. Patch cable for hook up from the outlet to the ATA or phone is included. Add $100.00 per outlet.
The above options are by no means the only options. These are some of the more popular additions or substitutions. We would be happy to discuss any additional requirements or answer any questions. AusTex VoIP also offers a plan where you provide your own computer. If you have a computer that can be dedicated as a phone server, you can save $150.00 off the price listed here. We serve Austin, and Central Texas from San Antonio to Waco.
All option pricing includes programming and installation.
