Calls between home and mobile are free, and do not count toward your monthly outgoing minutes. Calls to other customers of AusTex VoIP are also free. Sharing this service on your smartphone requires the purchase and installation of a SIP application for your iPhone or iPod Touch, or iPad for this plan to work. There are several in the Apple App Store, but we highly recommend either Media5-Fone ($7.99), or Acrobits Softphone ($7.99). For Android phones, you will need the Sipdroid application. We recommend you download the non market version, as it will work over 3G as well as Wi-Fi. AusTex VoIP will work with you to get the needed settings in the app to use with your account.
